Five-time Grammy award-winning singer-songwriter John Legend wrote the song "Show Me" as a prayer about the state of the world and the individual's place in it. John founded the Show Me Campaign in 2007 after visiting Millennium Villages in Bonsaaso, Ghana and Mbola, Tanzania and resolving himself to fighting poverty. Show Me has gone from a song to a call to action to join the movement to end global poverty.
